Since we upgraded to WordPress 2.0 we’ve gotten a couple complaints about broken RSS feeds. Our admin says RSS was part of the upgrade but all the RSS readers he’s tried are working properly. If you have a reader not working properly could you post in the comments the reader you’re using? Thanks.

To see all the feeds you have to go to the UD Main page at https://uncommondescent.com If you use BlogLines, there is a button that you can add to your tool bar to check for all the available feeds. https://uncommondescent.com/wp-feed.php and https://uncommondescent.com/wp-feed.php seem to be the official links, but they are not what is listed in the headers. In the header you have: All of which link to comments.johnnyb

In Firefox, if you click on the orange button (which is what you get RSS [aka Live Bookmarks] with), it gives you RSS for the _comments_. This has been really, really annoying. I think Red Reader go it right, and I am now going to follow his instructions for finding the relevant RSS.johnnyb

Dave, The original feed for TOPICS somehow became the feed for COMMENTS about 10 days ago or so. It was a bit confusing at first. But, using bloglines, I went back to the UD main page and pressed the bloglines button that checks for available feeds. There I found the new feed for Topics and subscribed with no problem. I liked the new feed for COMMENTS, but unsubscribed from it after a while because I personally like to read comments relative to a topic rather than to other comments. It's nice having the option, though, and much easier to moderate, I imagine.Red Reader
