  1. That makes playing a Rachmaninoff piano concerto seem easy.

  2. That video is incredible. That song is called “The Funeral” by Band of Horses.

  3. I walked into a department store and notice a few TVs setup showing video of different guys doing this sort of stuff. I just stood there with my mouth hanging open. Wow! I don’t know if this guy was in the video. It looks like his style was just a little different, though.

I love the guys looking over the railing and down the steps expecting to see blood and guts. It’d sure freak me out, too.

  4. Here’s the accompanying article from the Telegraph. Edinburgh provided the handsome stage for this. I don’t think that Danny MacAskill’s cultural achievements could really be placed in the common sense tradition though. ;)

  5. Breathtaking…

Too bad they cut out the audio. This is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen on Youtube. Here’s one with some music:

    Dude is amazing.

I wonder if we can recycle the CRU data/emails into art.

  8. I have a few friends that BMX that would be into this (although they’ve probably already seen it). I prefer street skateboarding, though.

Band of Horses is a good band. That song is from their debut album, but they released an album in ’07 that was even better called Cease to Begin.
