		<description>I guess the atheist could turn the rare-earth hypothesis around and say, &quot;That is why we must make the best of the short time we have here,&quot; or something to that effect. Personally, I wouldn&#039;t see the point, but I can imagine them saying that.

Anyway, I thought the remake was abysmal.</description>

		<description>You should check out the new Battlestar Galactica TV series.  Inhabitable planets seem to be a bit more common on the show than Klaatu suggests, but the point is made that the universe is a very inhospitable place and it&#039;s quite difficult to find what you need to survive out there, including habitable planets.  When I saw BSG, I made the same comparison with Star Trek that you did.  Nice to see on TV a more realistic representation of what&#039;s really out there.</description>
