This annual competition teaches Darwin Scouts applied natural selection and survival of the fittest. This year’s winner, a 28 year old ex-motorcycle gang member from Oakland, California, shows no remorse after cheating. Darwin Scouts must be between the ages of 8 and 14.

Regarding recent awards like “throw them in the fire 2007″, I’m pleased to announce that Jack Krebs, President of KCFS (Kansas Center For Sweetness) and author at PandasThumb is the recipient of the 2007 Darwin Awards conferred by the NCSE. See: Krebs Darwin Award Ceremony.
I’d like to congratulate Jack on this honor.
The award has a picture of Charles “Gas” Darwin at the top. It looks really splendid.
Congratulations, Jack!
