Just wondering: If humans are a plague, why isn’t climate doom an answer?

Nature seems always to survive in some form.
Look what happened after Chernobyl: Nothing much. Except that the government banned humans from the area, so its usual furry inhabitants divided it quite efficiently among themselves.
And who are humans to say what’s good or bad? Except, we’re bad. Oh, wait …
A new documentary and e-book, The War on Humans, documents the hottest trend in hating one’s neighbour.
Has anyone who says “There are too many people in the world and they are wrecking everything” ever made a start on the problem by quietly committing suicide and leaving a note? Maybe, but haven’t come across it yet. They almost always think that they are the special people who are somehow needed to convey the message to the rest of us.
