Trying to put a couple of things together here, re Christian evolutionists and Michael Dowd

Recently, Caroline Crocker offered us AITSE’s bunk detector for Rev. Michel Dowd and wife Connie Barlow’s recipe for “evolutionizing” your life for fun and profit:
This course in life management looks too good to be true. And it is. Married couple Michael Dowd and Connie Barlow promise you a “joy-filled life” and “lighthearted strength.” All you need to do is take their on-line course and learn how to “master your biological instincts and impulses.”
Okay, so the course maybe doesn’t pass the bunk detector, but the amazing part is this: The sheer number of Christian community notables who hope to get their heads evolutionized at Michael’s Dowd’s circus is amazing. You’d think, if they haven’t taken his course, they’d at least read what he has to say about a subject important to him: Gowd.

I went to a church service once where the pastor actually did pronounce the word as ‘Gowd!’ … and every time he said ‘Gowd!’ in my mind I repeated ‘Gowd!’ … I never went back.
Oh Gowd?
… pronounced with that stage-British accent generally used in historical dramas to represent the speach of upper-class Romans of the late Republic and early Empire.
